EN 62115 testing items: testing conditions; The principle of reducing or exempting experiments; Identification and instructions; Input power; Heating and abnormal operation; Electrical strength at working temperature; Moisture resistance; Electrical strength at room temperature; Mechanical strength; Structure; Protection of flexible cables and wires; Components; Screws and connections; Electrical clearances and creepage distances; Heat resistance and flame resistance; Radiation, toxicity, and similar hazards.

EN 62115 testing requires the provision of information such as product manuals, packaging drawings, testing application forms, etc.

On March 21, 2020, the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) released EN IEC 62115:2020 as a new version of the "Electric Toys - Safety" standard. This standard applies to toys that have at least one electrically dependent function (such as books with sound function in songs, remote-controlled cars, toy computers, and electronic experimental devices).

EN IEC 62115:2010 will replace EN 62115:2005 and all its revisions and errata.
