When it comes to passports for overseas stores, in order to conduct business with European customers, one must hold BSCI certification.

BSCI certification audit is divided into three parts: factory data audit, on-site audit, and employee interview.

Firstly, there is the review of factory information. Important documents include annual employee attendance and salary records, employee manuals, fire inspection reports, environmental impact assessments, employee insurance, recruitment projects, protection policies, welfare benefits, labor contracts, and child labor status. Next is on-site audit, where auditors will review any buildings covered by the factory, such as warehouses, workshops, dormitories, canteens, security rooms, etc. They will also conduct comprehensive and systematic audits of the factory's fire safety, chemical safety, occupational health and safety, environmental safety, etc. The last part is employee interviews, where auditors will conduct one-on-one or one to many interviews with employees. Any loophole in any link may result in the failure of BSCI factory inspection.
